Software Updates

The following may or may not apply to your software. If you received your software after the posting date, your software may already incorporate these enhancements.

3/29/2002. Survey Sense Version 3.0 only. If you output Market Analysis or Market Pricing blended summary data by jobcode to Excel, several columns may display as text instead of numbers.

Follow these steps to correct the format:

1) Request Updates301.mdb be emailed to you. Save Updates301.mdb to your hard drive and make note of the folder you saved it in.

2) Open the Survey Sense application, AppSurveySense.mdb.

3) Choose Software Updates from the Utilities Menu.

4) At the Software Updates screen, type qryMarketAnalysisSummary and click "Update Query." When prompted, type the drive letter, directory path and the file name to update from (for example, C:\My Documents\Updates301.mdb).

5) Repeat step 4 for qryMarketAnalysisSummaryAdHoc and qryMarketPricingSummary.

6) If the updates are successful, you will receive a message saying Successfully Updated Query.

1/21/2002. Survey Sense enhanced version 3.0 released. This version incorporates all updates, enhancements and bug fixes prior to this date. Access 2000 or 2002 required. Contact Technical Support if you are interested in this upgrade.

Although every attempt has been made to deliver an error-free product, the variety of installations prevent us from anticipating every possible situation. If you encounter a problem or error you feel is caused by our software, please contact (we may need a copy of your database or spreadsheet to replicate the problem). We are committed to resolving any errors you encounter. If the problem is with our software and it can be solved, you will receive a software update at no charge.
